No Show Ponies body scrub

Where I got it: I was sent this for review, but you can buy them online here – www.noshowponies.co.nz for $16.99.

What I got: This is a 200g tub of dry scrub by No Show Ponies. This scrub is best used as a dry scrub instead of a wet scrub. It is a modest scrub that combats cellulite, stretch marks and accelerates the skin renewal process, energizing tired and dull skin. No Show Ponies is a specialised hydrating scrub and designed to be used 2 times a week for optimum results. It contains coffee grinds for antioxidants and fighting cellulite, sugar cane for exfoliation, sweet almond oil for vitamin E to hydrate and calm the skin, mineral salts for detoxification and exfoliation.

How I find it: Inside this cute little tin smells really strong of sweet coffee, the mixture is a little moist from the sweet almond oil and you can see the raw sugar granules. To use as a wet scrub, I wet my body and help myself to a handful of this scrub and rub it gently on my body with circular motions (or body part that I want to focus on). You can either was it off after scrubbing, or you can leave it on for 5-10 mins for it to dry. Wash off thoroughly and if required I will use a body wash on top to remove the oils. To use as a dry scrub, I hop into the shower, and with a handful of this scrub, I rub it in circular motions. Then wash off as above. For best results use 2-3 times a week.

Overall: This scrub smells of coffee so if you are a coffee lover you will love it! After washing off the scrub, my skin feels really smooth and soft. Great to be used before self-tanning and before shaving! The scrub is a little oily so if you have oily skin, you must wash the oil off after the scrub otherwise it may cause breakouts in your chest and back area. You must use it in a shower or over a bath tub because this can get messy and you need to make sure you rinse it all out from the shower or bath otherwise the floor will get slippery and grainy!
