Nude by Nature Liquid Mineral Foundation and Concealer

Where I got it: I was sent these for review, but you can get these from Farmers and leading pharmacies for $39.90 and $19.90.

What I got: This is a 30mL bottle of Liquid Mineral Foundation in Light by nude by nature and a 10mL tube of Liquid Mineral Concealer in Light by nude by nature. The foundation is in the special limited edition bottle which is a dark brown colour (soooo pretty!)

How I find it:

Liquid Mineral Foundation $39.90 for 30mL: The dark brown glass bottle is sooooo pretty! It took me a few pumps to get the product out for the first use. The foundation is a slightly thick liquid foundation to which I would say gives medium to full coverage with a natural finish. After moisturiser, I apply a silicon based primer all over my face and I use about 1 pump of this foundation for a medium coverage (downside to this bottle is the pump because it is actually just a little tight so when I press the pump, it can dispense more than I need). I use my fingertips of a foundation brush to apply the foundation. I will take another half a pump and apply where I need it for a fuller coverage. I can either leave wear this alone for a glowing finish, or with a mattifying or finishing powder for a matte finish (and that it lasts longer).

Liquid Mineral Concealer in Light $19.90 for 10mL: This concealer comes in a little lip gloss applicator, but I don’t use it directly on my skin. I usually use my fingers or a concealer brush. The coverage is quite good for the under eye area. It is about 2 shades lighter than my natural skin colour so it is perfect for my dark circles. I dab the concealer directly to my dark circles and extends the coverage down to my cheeks a little so it creates an inverted triangle (that helps the concealer to blend flawlessly with the rest of my face so I don’t have panda eyes). Surprisingly with the creamy consistency of this concealer it has minimal crease under my eyes. I would also lightly pat some mattifying power (my favourite is Rimmel Stay Matte at the moment) to the area to further prevent it from creasing.

Overall: This is the first time I tried the brand and I love both of the products! The coverage of the foundation and the concealor is really good, but the concealor tends to move a little and creases a little under my eye area. The foundation is really natural and feels really light on the skin. The shades are really suitable for me because it is neutral toned.

Love the packaging! I love natural feeling foundations that aren’t too heavy so this one sounds great. Nice review 🙂

Thank you! I prefer something not too heavy too.
