Where I got it: I got this a while ago from the Estee Lauder counter in Hong Kong. I forgot the price, sorry!
What I got: This is a 15ml tube of the Cooling eye illuminator by Estee Lauder. The special ceramic applicator tip is super cooling and the eye cream from the tube is very much like the Even Skintone serum but with more light-reflecting particles (therefore more shimmery). It claims to reduce dark circles with the light-reflecting particles, de-puff and relieve stress from the eyes with the ultra-cooling ceramic applicator.
How I find it: I squeeze out a small amount and apply directly to the under-eye area directly with the applicator. Be warned that the tip can get pretty cold during winter months and cold mornings! The smooth tip glides the eye cream effortlessly and it feels sooooo good. I do this at the last step in my skincare so I take my time massaging and enjoy it. I usually use this when I am not having a full face of makeup/using any foundation of concealer, but I had no problems applying concealer over the illuminator.
Overall: I really love the tip, I wish I could twist off the tip and fill the tube in with aloe vera gel when I’ve finished the eye cream. It would make a great applicator for soothing pimples to reduce redness. The light-reflecting effect is quite nice, it doesn’t make your eye area look like a raccoon, but in the right angle/lighting, it does help with dark circles. I don’t have puffy eyes, therefore I can’t comment in that department.
