Where I got it: I was sent these products to try and review, but you should be able to find both of these at RRP NZD$21.00 at Farmers, Kmart and selected pharmacies.
What I got: This is a 30ml tube of Bronzing Primer fro Australis. This is a pre-foundation primer that is blended with antioxidants, vitamin A, C, E and soy bean oil, carrot oil and aloe vera. The primer provides a nice sun-kissed glow with a sheer shimmer. Can be worn alone or under foundation.
How I find it: After my moisturiser, I squeeze about 2cm of the bronzing primer onto the back of my hand and apply it evenly all over my face. The primer gives a very sheet bronze glow with a hint of shimmer. First application doesn’t show much bronzing, but it is buildable. I decided to wear this alone today with no foundation over the top, and I don’t see enough bronzing effect… I might build it up tomorrow.
Overall: I personally don’t think this does a good job as a primer because it doesn’t smooth out pores and/or lines or prep the skin with a smooth canvas, but I would use this as a liquid bronzer over the foundation. This is very similar to my MAC Lustre Drops in Solar Riche, which is a liquid bronzer. The MAC is a lighter colour than Australis, but when blended out, the bronzing effect seems to be better on the MAC side, while Australis may need more layers. The gel texture is easy to smooth out and you can blend it out to the shimmer intensity you like and let it dry. This will last me for a long time.
