Jurlique Rose Hand Cream

Wrinkled and dry hands are not a good sight. I have always loved to take care of my hands. A pair of hands with moisturised skin makes me feel confident when I’m out eating dinner, trying out jewelry, taking photos of my nail polish, showing off my ring, paying for the brunch, etc. I am blessed with slim and long fingers with proportionate nails (I love my hands as you can tell), but I never leave my hands unattended. If I have skincare that doesn’t work for my face, I don’t just chuck it, I use it for my hands and arms! I am always on the lookout for good hand creams.. and I have longed to try this!

Where I got it: I got this at Ballentynes at Christchurch Re-Start container mall while I was down there for some training (helping to rebuild the lovely city). There was an offer where you buy two skincare items, you get a gift pack for free. This is one of the gift in the pack. This retails for AUD$28 on Jurlique’s website, Sasa.com, Cosme-de.com and Strawberrynet.

What I got: This is a 40mL tube of Jurlique Rose hand cream. The tube is foil sealed with a pierce at the top of the cap. The tube is like a oil paint tube (don’t know how to describe it).

How I find it: The cream is quite thick and with a yellow-ish tint. The rose scent is different to the hydrating mist, but still very nice to smell. The texture is a little thick and waxy at first, but as you rub your hands, the cream easily spreads and the hand is moisturised and does not leave a greasy film. I don’t have to reapply so often (once every 3-4 hours and after washing your hands).

Overall: I am loving this hand cream so much! It is long lasting, rich but not sticky or greasy. A tube will last for at least 2 months because you only need to use a very small amount to cover both hands. However, it is still on the expensive range for hand creams, but definitely worth it if you have dry hands or if you just simply love taking care of your hands!
