Argania Hair Oil

My hair is rather dry, frizzy and unruly so I always have hair oil with me and it is really hard to find good hair products that really helps my hair. I have recently ran out of my Moroccan hair oil and I was looking to try another hair oil. Even though I love Moroccan oil, I also love trying new products both for my benefit and for reviewing purposes. I was recommended by Lizy of BeautyByLizy through twitter to try this Argania Hair oil out. Check out her review here.

Where I got it: I got this from Farmer Botany for $29.99 (RRP $34.99 with $5 all Argania products). They are also available in Life Pharmacies, Smtih & Caughey, Unichem, etc.

What I got: I got a 100mL glass bottle of the Argania Hair Oil (normal version, it also comes in light). This hair oil is made from certified organic moroccan argan oil, suitable for all hair types. It claims to reduce fizz and fly-aways, gives hair instant shine and body without weighing down the hair and protects from heat styling.

How I find it: After washing my hair, I lightly towel dry my hair and I pour about a 10 cent piece on my palms (I have thick medium/long hair length), warm it in up by rubbing it between my palms, then distribute it evenly through my hair concentrating the ends (I leave my roots because I tend to have oily roots too. sigh!). I then either let is dry naturally or blow dry it to about 90% dry. The texture of this oil is a little thicker than Moroccan oil and as soon as it spreads onto my hair, it doesn’t feel sticky or silicon-like. After one night,

Overall: This hair oil smells like marshmallows!! It smells so good! The only thing is that it would be great if it has a pump dispenser!  It is very lightweight on the hair and doesn’t leave it greasy or oily.  I think it needs some time to work to improve the health of my hair, but so far, it is doing good helping to control my frizzy hair.

Repurchase? This may be a cheaper alternative to my Moroccan Oil!  I do want to try the Macadamia oil next though.
