Skinfood Body Care

Where I got this: I was sent a couple of products from Skinfood to try and review (thank you Alex!). These are available at local supermarkets, The Warehouse and on their website!

What I got: I got quite a few skincare products from Skinfood (NZ), but this post will be body care products.  I got the Body butter 250ml (RRP$17.99), Hand cream 50ml (RRP$9.99) and Tanning moisturiser 200ml (RRP$14.99). Their products are all paraben-free, natural based and suitable for men and women. These are all made in New Zealand.

How I find it: I will review these one by one…

Body butter: This is a big tub of body butter and it is bursting with product! This body butter is made with shea butter, coco butter, manuka honey and avocado oil which makes this a really moisturising body butter. I slathered this all over my body after a nice hot shower and the lightly orange scented body butter is really easy to apply. I feel that this is a rather light body butter that I could use during winter as well.image

Hand cream: This small tube of hand cream is easy to fit in my handbag or in the glove box in my car. The main ingredients in this is Manuka honey, avocado oil and aloe vera. It is lightly orange scented and it moisturises quite well.  This now belongs on my table at work 🙂

Tanning moisturizer: Sweet almond oil rosehip and orange oils.  The tanning moisturiser is really lightweight to apply and doesn’t leave a sticky residue. The tanning effect is very gradual and very natural.  But this is not very instant and it does take a few days to develop a dark tan.imageRepurchase? The body butter and hand cream is pretty good and they are quite affordable.  As for the tanning moisturiser, I’m not a big fan of tanned skin so I’ll skip this one.
