I have just returned from long weekend in Sydney chasing the Manchester United FC with my hubby (He is a BIG fan. He even made me memorize their names and number and pick my favourite player). We flew over from Auckland on Friday morning. By morning I mean 5am in the morning (which requires us to be at the airport at 3am) and flew back on Monday night.
I am usually an over-packer. I pack more than I need. When I travel I like to bring samples or travel sized products rather than put my usual skincare in little bottles and tubs because that way, I don’t have to carry so much with me. That goes for makeup as well.
Here’s what I bought with me for this trip! Please note that I am showing the full sized items of some of the products.

There are a few items that I was glad that I took with me: Laneige Perfect Renewal essence and night treatment – very hydrating even in a fully air-conditioned room for a full night. Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation – great for travelling when you are out and about for long hours and you can’t be bothered touching up all the time. Elf Brow Set – I mainly used the powder side because it doubles up as a nose contour. Bobbi Brown brow pencil – Soooo pigmented! Body Shop liquid eyeliner – stays on and does not run for the entire day! Loreal Double Extensions Beauty Tubes Mascara – love this mascara, no panda eyes for my oily lids! Lucas Papaw Ointment – my fav all rounder lip balm, elbow balm, heel balm, etc. Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain – love the 2 colours I took with me. Dr Hauschka Lemon Lemongrass Body Oil – Helped my body so much with the dry air-conditioned room.
I’ll be travelling long-haul to Hong Kong and another Asia destination (yet to be decided) early 2014 for about 4 weeks and my packing will be different! I’ll be doing another travel bag post then! 🙂
