What I got: I got 3 Clariol Professional styling products – Volumation Volume Heat Protection Lotion, Dramatize Volume Mousse and Fix Finishing Spray.
Clairol Professional Volumation Volume Heat Protection Lotion (RRP $23.50) is a professional blow drying lotion with a light formula. It gives volume for up to 2 days while providing protection from straightening irons, curlers and blow dryers. Sometimes having straight hair can be quite flat on the head, this protection leaves my hair full of volume, while maintaining a soft, healthy look.

Clairol Professional Dramatize Volume Mousse (RRP $23.50) creates fullness and body for up to 24hrs. This extra strong hold mousse helps strengthen fine hair with a rich moisturizing formula, which washes out easily, and doesn’t leave the hair sticky or greasy. I just shake well before use, apply a small amount to hands and work into towel dried hair, then I blow dry my hair with my head upside down. The mousse doesn’t gives enough volume with a strong hold if that is what you prefer.
Clairol Professional Fix Finishing Spray (RRP $11.90) is a quick drying, strong hold spray, which provides long lasting hold to fix your style into place. The micro fine formula allows for even distribution and short drying time, as spray droplets instantly form bonds between hair fibers to create an extra strong hold, to last up to 24 hours. I use this to control my fly aways and especially when I try to put my hair up with a messy look without falling apart. Great hold as a final touch-up, I brush it out before jumping into the shower for wash off.
Overall: I prefer soft hold when I have straight hair, but strong hold when I have a perm, so my favourite would be the volumation lotion spray. It gives flexible hold while giving my hair nice volume so it doesn’t look dead. The best thing is, it is also has heat protection! Woohoo! However, all 3 of the products are great and very affordable (the mousse and finishing spray is beyond huge!). Oh, they also smell great!!
