What I got: This is a 50ml tube of Trilogy’s Botanical Lightening Treatment. This lightening treatment Improves the appearance of pigmentation, such as age spots and dark marks, evens skin tone, brightens and lightens the complexion, lightly hydrates (ideal for warmer climates) and provides instant luminosity.
How I find it: The lovely off-white tub is really pretty, it comes with a clear cap and a pump. One pump gives me the perfect amount of product for the entire face. It is in a type of a lotion consistency so it is not too thick nor too fluid. The treatment lotion is white in colour with a hint of shimmer to give you that lovely glow. Almost immediately after applying, its absorbed into my skin leaving my skin feeling a little silky to the touch , then I apply my usual moisturiser. This can also be used as a spot treatment if you apply directly to spots.
Overall: There is a limited range of lightening/whitening products available in New Zealand because it is not the trend. Everyone is focused on tanning down at the Southern hemisphere. As a Asian at heart, I am always attracted to whitening products, especially with my acne scarring, I will try anything. This lightening treatment is just the perfect product, its not harsh, not drying and it gives just the right amount of hydration to the skin. I love it.
