Where I got it: I got sent this for review. These are available in 11 colours and a clear lip balm for $30. You can purchase these on Karen Murrell website, or find your local stockists here. Check out my review of 03 Pink Starlet and 09 Sandstorm here,06 Carnation Pink here and 11 Scarlet.Blaze here.
What I got: After trying out some pink and tan shades from Karen Murrell’s lipsticks, I am trying out their bright little number 07 Fuschia.shock. Karen Murrell lipsticks are totally natural, contains no mineral oil, no animal products, parabens or preservatives! They all contain Candelilla, Evening Primrose oil and Castor oil, they smell and taste nice (smells like cola bottle lollies)!

How I find it: Fuchsia.shock is a very wearable red-fuchsia, that is not too bright. My photo doesn’t bring out the best shade for this lipstick, but it is a shade that I don’t own much of because I am quite weary that it will be too bold to wear. The colour is buildable, but with one swipe, I can already get a pigmented red coat that is very moisturising as well.
Top: right half with 07 Fuchsia.Shock, left half bare. Bottom: Full lips with 07 Fuchsia.Shock.
Overall: I was really happy when I received this because it was one of the colours that I mentioned that I wanted to try (post) It is creamy and soft on my lips, I don’t think I need a lip balm! This shade would suit for a night out or as a statement lip. I wouldn’t wear it to work because it is rather dark.
Repurchase? Yes! I would like to try an orange shade and a dark plum shade if they will be creating that in the future.
Have you tried Karen Murrell’s lipsticks yet?
