December is here and we’re in the festive month and Christmas is fast approaching! I’ll be spending a (hopefully) quiet Christmas with my hubby, Jiu Jiu the Miniature Dachshund and my mother in law in Auckland. Just grateful that I have 3 weeks off work and I can sleep in.
I have gathered 10 Christmas gift ideas (please note that all of the items mentioned are on my wishlist or something I really recommend) for yourself or a lovely sister, girl-friend, or anyone who loves skincare and makeup!

2. Naked 3 palette USD$52.00 – This time Urban Decay has come up with a rose-gold toned palette as part of the eye shadow palette collection. I have the Naked 2 palette and I love it! I’m sure I will love this one too!
3. Sebastian Penetraitt gift set NZD$ – This gift pack includes a 250ml Sebastian Penetraitt Shampoo and Conditioner and a 150g Whipped Creme. Best for stressed and damaged hair.
4. Deborah Lippmann R&B Mini Nail Lacquer Duet (Nordstrom exclusive) USD$19.00 – Between the Sheets and Happy Birthday goes very well together and separately. Use Between the Sheets as the bottom layer, then use Happy Birthday for the accent nail or your entire manicure for more bling bling! Comes with a lovely pouch to match Happy Birthday! There are many other colours from Deborah Lippmann that are just absolutely amazing!
5. Acrylic makeup boxes from Muji (flip top with drawers) £11.50 – I love love love storage and I have been wanting to buy proper storage for my makeup collection! However acrylic storage boxes can be quite expensive, but the ones from Muji are quite reasonably priced! They are stackable and they come either with a flip top or fixed top, wide or narrow. Muji have a number of different styles to choose from. I am looking at getting myself some when I visit Hong Kong early next year.
6. Thalgo Indoceane Gift Box NZD$165.30 – It contains a Sweet and Savoury Scrub, Silky Smooth Cream and a Scented candle in the Indoceane collection. The Indoceane collection inspired by the Eastern scents – Sacred Lotus Flower and Qi-Marine to relieve stress and enhance serenity. 7. Trilogy body wash NZD$29.90 – This body wash would be a great gift to anyone – guys or girls. It smells great and cleanses your skin. There are a few products from Trilogy that comes in a great gift pack as well – check them out on their website!
8. Methven Maia Satinjet NZD$ 300 (approx.) – This is one item I have been wanting for a long long time. It is an attachment to the your existing shower outlet with a vitamin C cartridge and an optional shower gel attachment. The shower head looks lovely and the de-chlorinated water will make my skin and hair very soft and silky!
9. Karen Murrell lipsticks $30.00 each – All of Karen Murrell’s lipsticks are made from natural based ingredients that contains no mineral oils, preservatives and parabens. The colour range is simply beautiful with my favourite so far to be Scarlet.blaze and Carnation.mist! I would love to try Red.shimmer and Coral.dawn next.
10. PMD Personal Microdem system USD$181.00 – This is an at-home personal micro-dermabrasion system that is super affordable, you buy the hand-held machine and the disposable heads. One replacement head will last you about 3-4 treatments and there are different types to choose from. Helps with acne scars, fine lines, etc. Best beauty-related technology available!
