Where I got it: I bought this from Farmers while they were having a beauty sale where you can get double points and special gift with purchase offers. This little baby for $180 and it comes with a gift with purchase and the gift included a Night Repair eye cream. So I did the maths and it was still a better deal than getting this online – double points and gwp! Normally, I would buy this from Strawberrynet.com. You can get this from Estee Lauder counters nationwide (Farmers, department stores and leading pharmacies).
What I got: This is a 50ml bottle of Advanced Night Repair Serum Synchronized Recovery Complex II. This also comes in 30ml and 100ml. Of course the 100ml is more value for money, but I didn’t want to invest in the biggest size just in case I didn’t like it. This serum is designed to be used at night to help the skin to achieve the effect of a good night’s sleep. It claims to instantly hydrates the skin making the skin radiant and over time it improve skin tone, skin texture, fine lines and improve moisture barrier.
How I find it: I use it after cleansing and toning and before my normal moisturiser. I use about 2-3 drops from the dropper. I put it on my palms and rub them together and apply on my face. The serum is really smooth and comfortable to use, it doesn’t have a silicon texture to it. After the serum, I would either use a night moisturiser on top, or I will use my Jurlique Rosewater spray. I would give a few good sprays and let it absorb by itself. The hyaluronic acid in the serum grabs onto the water and absorbs it to your skin.
Overall: I really like it. It doesn’t break me out, and it is not too thick. Absorbed nicely without a film over the top. I love using it with a hydrating spray so I know my skin is drinking up the water and the serum keeps it in! I use it nightly as it is quite an expensive serum, but you don’t need to use alot. I will probably keep buying this after I used this up. I really love Estee Lauder’s serums, I already have the Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator and the Perfectionist CP+R. So far the ANR and Idealist are my favourite.
