What I got: This is a 50ml tube of Weleda’s new Sea Buckthorn Hand Cream. Weleda’s hand cream range also includes the Pomegranate Regenerating Hand Cream ($23.90) and the Citrus Hand and Nail Cream ($19.90). An energetic hand cream that rapidly absorbs to reliably protect hard working hands from moisture loss and restore rough and stressed skin to become smooth and supple again. The hero ingredient, Sea Buckthorn Oil, is extracted from the pulp and the kernel of sea buckthorn berries. The sun-blessed golden-red berries contain a unique combination of antioxidant vitamins A, C and E, flavanoids and essential fatty acids, (omega 3, 6, 7) which are easily absorbed and provide intensive care and replenishment to the skin. These nutrients help regenerate and protect the skin from UV radiation and free-radical damage.
Weleda Sea Buckthorn Hand Cream
How I find it: This hand cream smells like all the products in the Sea Buckthorn range and is yellow tinted. The twist off cap is easy to open and the formula is very creamy. The moisturising hand cream is a treat to use, I love using it after washing the dishes, after a shower, at the office, in the car, before bed time, etc. It is not greasy and smells great.
Weleda Sea Buckthorn Hand Cream
Overall: This hand cream is very moisturising and the texture is quite creamy. Spreads easily, but it does take a while to be absorbed. It has their usual Sea Buckthorn citrus scent which I love. This will be the next staple on my bedside table so I can apply after right before bed!
