Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush

              

Last week media was invited to the launch of the Clinique Smart Custom-Repair Serum and we were also surprised with a special launch which was under a worldwide embargo until today (1st June 2014).  May I present to you the new skin-changer – Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush.

To be launched in New Zealand on 1st September 2014, this dermatologist developed, Swiss engineered cleansing innovation will transform your skin. They will retail for $165 and $31 for replacement brush heads.

• Design: The specifically designed brush head is oval-shaped to allow for targeted cleansing in the hard-to-reach places including the nose, hairline and chin. The pale green at the top consists of firmer and shorter bristles to allow for easier and more efficient cleansing to areas that are prone to clogging. The white bristles has a much softer touch to cleans larger areas such as cheeks and foreheads.
• Sonic vibrations: Swiss engineered sonic technology gently massages skin, loosening stubborn dirt and oil more effectively than hands alone.
• Ergonomic handle: Provides an easy and comfortable grip while allowing the brush to lay flat to dry.
• Compact and waterproof design: makes the brush portable and easy to use in and out of the shower.
• Self-timer: Once turned on, it goes on for 30 seconds which is the recommended usage time for most skin types to begin with. When comfortable, build up to 1 minute of use, twice daily.
• Charging dock: It comes with a sleek looking charging dock and with a single charge, it will last for 3 hours. An LED indicator will light up when battery is low.

Instructions: After removing makeup on the face, dampen the brush head and apply Clinique’s Liquid Facial Wash (designer to be best used with a foaming wash instead of a milk/cream cleanser) directly onto the brush head. Switch it on and gently massage the forehead, nose and chin with the soft white bristles, then tilt the brush head using the green bristles to clean the t-zone. There is no need to apply pressure, just let the brush to its work! Wash off and follow with Clinique’s Clarifying Lotion and DDML/DDMG. The brush head is so gentle, even when used on wet tissue or on an orchid flower petal, it will not rip or bruise the petal!
