What I got: This is a 60ml tub of Antipodes Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream. It is suitable for most skin types including ultra dry. How I find it: After cleansing and toning, I use the Antipodes Joyous Protein-Rich Night Replenish Serum (they work perfectly together for an anti-aging night routine – they come in a mini duo set for $19.90), then I apply this night cream. This night cream is really really soft and seems to melt at your fingertips, even in winter. This night cream is nourishing but not sticky or hard to spread at all. It has aroma therapeutic effects as the scent calms you for sleeping.
Overall: I’ve been using this for a week now and it is an absolutely lovely night cream. I usually won’t go for a heavy night cream or anything with the term nourishing because I am worried that it will be too thick and too rich for my combination skin. However, during winter and now just stepped into my 30’s, my skin has slightly changed to a combination/normal skin. Especially during winter, it can get a bit dry (not to mention carrying a bub can shake up your hormones a bit!). This cream feels really nice on my skin, and even though it does take a bit of time to absorb, I have no problems using this at night because I am not going out and I don’t mind my face looking a little glowy/moist than usual. I actually quite like that it is protecting my skin overnight from moisture loss. Overall, love this cream and this will last me a long time!
