Where I got it : I got this at Pak n Save for $6.99 while it was on special. You can get this from supermarkets, Farmers, pharmacies, etc. RRP$10.99.
What I got : This is a spray bottle of Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturiser for dry skin repair. It also comes in Aloe Fresh and Cocoa Glow. This is basically a spray and go moisturiser – similar to those spray on sunscreens. You are suppose to hold is about 10cm from the skin and spray a fine mist all over the body. This one is suitable for dry to very dry skin. Aloe Fresh is a lighter version suitable for normal skin or someone opting for a lighter moisturiser. Cocoa Glow has a yummy cocoa and coconut scent, but it is not a self-tanning lotion.
How I find it : On the bottle, it recommends to spray it approximately 10cm away from the skin. I spray directly onto my body with about 3cm from my body because I’ve tried spraying it further away but it tends to get on the tiled floor and makes it super slippery. I tried to use it on the carpet and it tends to get on the carpet as well. After spraying, I massage the moisturiser all over my skin to spread it. The moisturiser absorbs quickly and I can put my clothes on soon after.
Overall : I think the idea is nice, but it’s the scent that I cannot stand! It is too strong and lingers on for so long even my husband complained about it. :< I think if I have got the aloe fresh scented one I would enjoy that a lot more. However, it is moisturising, quick to absorb and the 360° spray is just super! I would probably use it outdoor when I’m on holiday or something because at the moment, I can’t hold it far to spray on my skin as it gets all over the floor or carpet. I basically have to spray it on my hands, then spread it all over my body, so the convenience idea is pretty much out the window.
