What I got: This is a box of Schwarzkopf’s Nectra Colour in 4-68 Chocolate Brown. This is Schwarzkopf’s first nurturing hair colour product containing floral nectar and botanical oils. How I find it: I am pregnant so I am quite careful on what I use on my skin and hair. This ammonia free hair dye is just the right thing. This hair dye is like your usual at home hair dye – mix the tube with the developer bottle, shake it up and apply to unwashed hair with the gloves provided. Applying all over the hair I made sure I cover the roots and near my hair line. Using a comb to spread the mixture all over my hair I then clip it all up and set the timer for 30 minutes. The hair dye smells really pleasant and there is absolutely no ammonia scent at all! After 30 minutes, I stepped into the shower, with the gloves on, I wet my hair and work.it into a lather. Then rinse it off under running water until the water runs clear. I then use half of the conditioner packet that came with the pack and leave it on while I do the rest of my shower routine. Rinsing off the conditioner also helps take a bit of that residue colour out.
Overall: Great colour and I am glad that it is ammonia free and smells really nice. The lovely brown colour looks great on my skin tone and very glossy as well. After a couple of shampooing the colours didn’t fade out at all – still glossy and vibrant. I love it!
