What I got: This is a tube of Living Nature Lip Hydrator which is a lip balm. It features Manuka Honey, nourishing butters and oils to deeply hydrate and condition while Mica gives lips a healthy sheen, and natural sun protection. The Hydrating Toning Gel is a refreshing and lightweight gel type toner which you apply after cleansing and before moisturising. It restores natural pH levels and also helps prevent oil overproduction, firms, tones and adds moisture naturally. Soothing and calming Harakeke Flax Gel tones and hydrates, while antiseptic humectant Active Manuka Honey nourishes, and helps maintain skin health.

How I find it: The Lip Hydrator is a clear lip balm in a bullet form. It doesn’t have a scent which is preferred by many people with sensitive lips and it is convenient to use. The lip balm melts onto my lips effortlessly and provides good moisture. I would apply as my lips needed it. As for the Hydrating Toning Gel – after cleansing, I squeeze about a pearl sized amount of this clear gel onto my hands, then spread that between my hands and apply all over my face. This acts as a toner. After about 30 seconds, the gel is absorbed then I apply my usual serum and moisturiser.

Overall: I would say the Lip Hydrator is nice, it is hydrating and moisturising without feeling greasy or sticky. It doesn’t have any scent so people with sensitive lips should be able to use. I use it on its own or under my favourite lipstick. As for the Hydrating Toning Gel, I quite like it! The texture is very fresh and hydrating. I have never used a gel type toner before so it was quite interesting! After using the gel, my skin feels hydrated and refreshed! It is very pleasant to use! Living Nature also does an Extra Hydrating Toning Gel suitable for drier skin types that needs more hydration and moisture. I have experienced no peeling or allergic reactions with both of these products. Living Nature products are all cruelty free.
