Lash Angel Eyelash Extension Mascara set and Wotnot facial wipes

What I got: I was sent a set of the Lash Angel Lash Extension Mascara set and a pack of Wotnot Facial Wipes for Sensitive skin (25 wipes). So here’s a bit about BeautyItch if you have not heard of them!

Beauty Itch started with a hardcore beauty-product-junkie who had been trying and reviewing products since she was a teenager. She eventutally went on a search to find a few of the essential products that she could not do without, and that actually deliver the results they claim to. Beauty Itch began with Eyelash extension Mascara and gentle Face Wipes; who doesn’t want fabulous eyelashes and clean skin on the go? She rounded up a group of like-minded reviewers with different skin types and made sure they loved Lash Angel™ and Wotnot Facial Wipes as much as she did, and then shared them with the rest of New Zealand!

How I find it:

Lash Angel Lash Extension Mascara set RRP$24.95: The set comes with a transplanting gel (longer tube) and a tube of fibre (shorter tube). The transplanting gel is black and so are the fibres (very similar to the Younique Moodstruck 3D Fibre Lashes I have reviewed earlier). The fibres are short and very light. After curling my lashes, I apply a coat of the transplanting gel. The transplanting gel formula is not too wet and it adheres onto my lashes easily without being clumpy or too wet to make my lashes stick together. Then before the transplanting gel dries I apply the fibres to the lashes from the middle to the ends. The fibres will stick to the gel. Then I can pretty much apply the next layer of transplanting gel right away to seal the fibres in. The fibres stick onto my lashes instead of the wand so it really does build up my lashes really well. My lashes are voluminous and extended without looking clumpy or stuck together.

Wotnot Facial Wipes RRP$15.00: These facial wipes uses certified organic roseship, sweet almond oil and certified organic aloe vera. It uses 100% natural and biodegradable fibres and is free from alcohol and artificial perfumes, free from parabens and petrochemicals. It is ideal for sensitive skin and removes all make-up including waterproof mascara.  They are 20x18cm each. First thing, the pack really well sealed and the wipes are really moist. Each piece of facial wipe is pulled out individually without the trouble of having to try and stuff the next wipe back into the pack. The sticker closure is easily sealed back in to make sure the wipes stay moist and fresh without drying out. The wipes are soft and gently, but a little on the thin side. It removes my medium coverage foundation, BB cream, blush, brow liner, etc. well but it doesn’t seem to remove my waterproof mascara very well. I have also been using this facial wipe to remove my facial masks (clay, gel, cream, etc.) and they are really effective!

Overall: Even though my before and after is not as striking as you may have seen with other people, but that is my true results with 2 coats and that is how I love them. I have thin, short and sparse lashes so to achieve this is already pretty good! This is not the type of mascara I would wear on a daily basis because it is quite dramatic and time consuming. I would wear this if I have an event to go to, or if I am going out for dinner, etc. where I need more oomph to my lashes without using falsies.
The Wotnot facial wipes are thick and large so I can remove a whole face of makeup easily if I am not wearing very heavy face makeup where I will use another sheet to make sure everything is removed. However I just can’t stand the smell, it smells pretty bad to be honest!
