What I got: This is a 75ml tube of Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask. A traditional remedy of New Zealand Maori people is antibacterial manuka honey, which powerfully draws moisture to your skin to hydrate it intensely. This facial mask delivers an intensely moisturising, cleansing and antioxidising treatment. It is the ultimate solution for spots and blemishes. Fragrances of vanilla pod and mandarin linger to bring peace and balance to your aura.

How I find it: After cleansing and drying my skin, I squeeze about a 1.5cm diameter of this mask onto my palm and use a synthetic flat foundation brush (or a mask brush) and apply the mask all over my face (using a brush gives an even layer and mess free hands!). I can use this mask all over my combination skin as the manuka honey in this gel-cream texture mask mositurises the dry areas and provides antibacterial and calming care to my blemishes. Wait for 10 to 15 mins then I rinse off with warm water.

Overall: This mask is great, I would say it caters for every skin type and is beneficial to use whenever – whether you have breakouts, or you are having redness or dry skin issues. This mask can help you out. Easy to rinse off, the mask seems to have either dried or absorbed because when in contact with water the mask doesn’t feel slippery or slimey – it almost feels like the mask has been absorbed and there is just a thin layer left where it is not entirely absorbed! My skin is left moisturised and my skin texture improved. I am not having heaps of blemishes at the moment so I can’t comment of the results on that department. However I have been having dry and rough skin around my cheeks and forehead due to being in heated rooms for pretty much the whole day, every day (I am on maternity leave looking after my new born in winter requires my house to be heated constantly). I also love the packaging of this mask – hygienic and easy to dispense.
