Where I got it: I got this at Ballentynes at Christchurch Re-Start container mall while I was down there for some training (helping to rebuild the lovely city). The mist is $55 for 100ml and $40 for 50ml. Obviously the $55 for 100ml is much better value if you compare it to the 50ml version – for $15 more you get 50% more product! You can buy this at Smith & Caughey and Sasa.com.
What I got: I got a 50ml glass bottle of the Jurlique Citrus Purifying Mist. This comes with a clear cap and a spray pump that delivers a fine mist. This mist claims to energize and purify the skin, leaving the skin refreshed and refined.
How I find it: After cleansing, I pat dry my face lightly, shake the bottle gently and spritz this directly onto my face from a distance of about 2cm (about 4 pumps, sometimes my aim is bad, but this take a bit of practice). The citrus scent is very energizing, but just a little overwhelming.. a little too lemon-y if you know what I mean. The mist is absorbed quickly and I use this day and night and whenever I need some hydration.
Overall: The spray produces a fine mist and this citrus scent is energizing and awakening. The mist is absorbed quickly leaving a skin a little tight. It will take a while to see its full effects and benefits, but I do regret not getting the 100ml instead. When I feel that my skin needs a bit of hydration kick, I love using this on top of my Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum. As the serum contains hyaluronic acid to suck in moisture and keep it locked into the skin, I let my skin and the ANR do its job to pull the mist in instead of patting it into my skin.
I also bought other products from Jurlique and I got a lovely gift set with my purchase! I got the Rosewater Hydrating Mist and the gift set included a Purely Age-defying eye cream, Purely Age-defying Night Lotion and a Rose hand cream.
