Where I got it: Recently we have a new addition to our family and being a first time mom I really underestimated the minimal hours of sleep I can get each day. I was stressed and my skin is the first to show signs of tiredness and stress. The lovely Jessica from Clinique was so thoughtful, seeing that I was in much need of a pick-me-up, so she sent me these (what a life saver!)! You could get this from all Clinique counters nationwide or online.
What I got: This is a 75ml tube of Clinique Turnaround Instant Facial (Clinique Turnaround Instant Facial review here). In 5 minutes, this high-performance facial delivers all the radiance and smoothness of microdermabrasion-with significantly less irritation and stress to skin. Promotes surface cell turnover on multiple levels to instantly unveil skin that’s fresher, more vibrant and even-toned. Oil free.
How I find it: After cleansing my fave, I lightly pat dry. I squeeze about a 10 cent piece onto my palm and apply with my fingertips all over my face avoiding my eye and mouth area. The instant facial mask has tint granules and the consistency of the mask is creamy. But once it is spread across the face, it tends to dry up fast. You need a decent amount to apply liberally otherwise once the mask dries fast, it will be hard to spread. After a quick 5 minutes (because I don’t have hours to spare where I can draw a bath, do a body scrub, give myself a facial and slather body cream all over myself anymore), I rinse it off with warm water gently massaging the granules off as a gentle exfoliator. The mask has shimmers and after rinsing off, some shimmering particles remain on the skin, creating a brightening effect.
Overall: The texture of the mask is really interesting, it goes on quite smoothly then dries down to a matte white layer. The mask reveals smooth and radiant skin by removing dead skin cells. After removing, it leaves a slightly shimmering effect on the skin. Renewing results will be most ideal when combined with the use of the Turnaround Concentrate Radiance Renewer.
