Where I got it: I wear contact lenses regularly and I always get them from Hong Kong when I travel. Earlier this year, I didn’t have time to get them ordered so I was searching online for some contact lenses. www.getglasses.co.nz that provides free 30 days return and free shipping with any orders over $70! Getglasses.co.nz stocks sunglass brands such as Ray Ban, Emporio Armani, Oakley, Prada, Gucci, etc. and contact lenses such as Acuvue, Firstlook, FreshKon, Geo, etc.
What I got: I purchased a 6 lens pack of Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism (fortnightly wear) and an Emporio Armani sunglasses (link). The contact lenses were NZD$44 (discounted from NZD$55) and the sunglasses was NZD$149 (discounted from NZD$215).
How I find it:
Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism: I have been wearing Acuvue contact lenses for a long time so there is no guessing around here. I’m satisfied with the product, the packaging and how they can arrange a subscription service to be delivered to you at specific date intervals or have the website decide for you. These contact lenses are fortnightly lenses, so they are disposable after 2 weeks. It is comfortable to wear and feels weightless. However it does get a bit dry after over 8 hours of wear and by the time it is reaching 2 weeks of wear it can be a bit dry to wear comfortably.
Emporio Armani sunglasses (EA4006 507813): I love these new sunnies! They look great on my face shape and the size is just perfect! Love semi-hard case that it comes in with a zip closure. There is a small “EMPORIO ARMANI” engraving on the side of the right temple and a little Emporio Armani logo on the left temple tip. I love the subtle brand name and logo on my sunnies so that they are not so in-your-face and quite low-key. The package comes with a little authentication certificate and a glasses cloth for cleaning up. These sunnies can suit a number of different occasions and outfits from chic and polished to your every-day t-shit and jeans look!
Overall: The products and the packaging of these products are really well protected and clean, however the shipping was a bit disappointing. Estimated shipping time stated on the website was 3-8 working days, but I placed my order on 21st July and my package arrived on 29th August which is pretty much over a month! I suppose they had a bit of an issue of having stock of what I ordered? The website is quite user friendly and the range of styles of sunglasses is pretty impressive! I had a hard time choosing which one to get! The contact lens area however was a bit lack of options to choose from.
