Where I got it: I was sent this as a pr sample. The entire range of Lipidol products are available from selected Farmers for $9.95. From the creators of the Bio Oil, the Lipidol range also has Cleansing Face Oil, After Shower Oil, Sunscreen Oil, After Shave Oil and Overnight Face Oil.
What I got: This is a 200ml bottle of Lipidol Cleansing Body Oil. Washes off dirt without stripping the skin’s natural oily layer. Apply to wet skin. The oil will emulsify and lather. Rinse off. I love how I can squeeze the bottle to dispense the oil instead of shaking the product out from the little hole.

How I find it: I pour a good amount of this Cleansing Body Oil onto my palms and quickly spread that out onto my damp skin. Make sure you spread it around quickly because once the oil makes contact with water, the oil will emulsify and thicken. I add more if needed. Massage well and rinse off with water and the skin is left feeling clean and sof. Not greasy at all.
Overall: This is not my first shower oil, I have used one from L’Occitane before (L’Occitane Cleansing and Softening Shower Oil with Almond Oil). This is less thick and not as luxurious, but very much affordable! I love the idea of a shower oil as much as I love makeup removing cleansing oil for the face. Oil removes oil-based dirt and grime effectively. Make sure the oil get emulsified to a milky white liquid, because that is the way to make sure the oil is working. To make this product even better, if this body oil comes with a pump, that would be wonderful! The other product I am very interested to try will be the Sunscreen Oil!
