Where I got it: I was sent the October issue of Lust have it! subscription service. Lust have it is a subscription service providing beauty samples. For $19.90 each month, you will receive 5-6 deluxe sample sized beauty products where at least one of them will be a full sized!
What I got: This is the October issue of the Lust have it! It comes in a pretty hot pink mesh bag with a gold zipper (great as makeup bags!). This month is is a mixture of skincare and makeup with brands that are new to me, brands I have heard of and brands I have tried previously. Let’s take a look what’s inside this month’s bag!
Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse ($24.95 for 50ml, $39.95 for 100ml). In a single gesture, Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi-use Dry Oil norishes, repairs and soften skin and reduces stretch marks. Thanks to its unique ultra-concentrated composition of 6 Precious Plant Oils; Macadamia, Hazelnut, Borage, Sweet Almond , Camellia and St John’s Wort. I have been wanting to try this oil from Nuxe for a while now. My friend has this and she loves it on her hair and body. I have oily skin on my face so I probably won’t be using this a lot on my face, but my body and hair would love it! This stuff smells amazing (another reason I won’t use this much on my face because it is strongly fragranced). This is a small bottle though for the body, so after trying it on my skin, I will be saving this for my hair. This will hydrate and smooth my hair AND make my hair smell amazing!
Montagne Jeunesse Glacial Clay Spa ($4.99). A new sensational cleansing experience! Discover the deep cleansing eansing properties of botanical enriched clays infused with 100% natural bamboo fabric, for a convenient ‘mess-free’ amazing beauty experience. This is the ultimate 10 minute beauty boost! Also available in Dead Sea Mud Spa. I have been a huge fan of sheet masks but have never used one infused with clay. Most of them were serum or lotion types.
So Susan Intense Eye Shadow Palette with Coated Pigments ($35.00). The ultimate in smokey, intense eye colour, formulated with coated pigments to give you stretchable, long-lasting colour. I have no idea what coated pigments are, but the color pay-off is alright. It has a smooth texture but it does need some primer to help the shadow adhere to the skin. There is a light grey/lavender shade for all over eyelid base and highlight. Then there is a light purple shade, and darker purple shade a a dark grey shade. There is a small sponge-tip applicator but no mirror which is quite inconvenient.
Colour By TBN Lipstick in A Kiss is a Kiss ($3.50). This moisturising formula infused with Aloe Vera & Vitamin E has a luxurious velvety texture. Available in 5 various colours. This packaging of this lipstick reminds me of Revlon lipsticks! The shade I have is call A Kiss is a Kiss, it is a mauve-nude shade that looks exactly like my natural lip color! It is a creamy finish with a moisturising texture. I like to apply this over a lip balm without any lip gloss.
Inika Black Kohl Pencil with sharpener in Black Caviar ($29.00). INIKA certified organic eyeliners have a rich and creamy consistency unparalleled in the world of natural liners. Formulated to glide on easily, they deliver even depth of colour and real stay-ability. Each INIKA eyeliner comes with a complimentary sharpener lid. This black eyeliner is super creamy and I love how it comes with a sharpener lid. The eyeliner has a creamy natural finish that can be smudged to create a smokey eye look. I prefer smudge-proof and water-proof eyeliners so this one is not really suitable for me. I hate running eyeliners and I hardly wear smokey eye makeup.
Glamourflage Awesome Eva Eye Mask ($7.95) Slip into something comfortable, put on some relaxing music and ease your cares away in the soothing darkness – safe in the knowledge that you may be taking it easy but still looking fabulous. This is just an ordinary eye mask with 2 elastic bands. It has leopard prints on the outside and is black on the inside. I usually don’t wear these unless I’m on a flight so I’ll probably put this in storage for now.
Overall: This month’s bag is pretty good! All of the products are full sized except for the dry oil. But I am already very excited to try the oil for the first time. The value of this month’s is $105.39 in total so it has already exceeded it’s cost. I love Lust have it! because it brings in new brands I have not heard of and also brands that are not readily available in New Zealand. It provides higher end and lower end products but I would say some products are a little over-priced to start with.
