What I got: This is a 30ml bottle of Weleda Pomegranate Firming Face Serum. Intensive beauty treatment packed with anti-oxidant rich pomegranate seed oil. Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in just 4 weeks. Independent tests on 23 women twice a day for 4 weeks – skin texture feels burnished, smoother, and looking rejuvenated. Skin tone feels firmer. Fine lines and wrinkles are visibly reduced. Comes in a plastic air-tight bottle with a translucent lid and pump.

How I find it: After cleansing and toner, I use one pump of this serum all over my face, and one pump for my neck and decolletage area, then follow with a moisturiser. I use upward motions around my jaw line, and outward motions around my forehead and cheeks. The serum is light in texture and clear in colour.

Overall: I really like the light, fluid texture of this serum and how easily absorbed it is on the skin. It does contain alcohol however and you can kind of smell it when you apply it onto your face. Once absorbed, it doesn’t leave a film on top or feel heavy so you can layer on your other moisturiser and sunscreen products without feeling too thick and heavy. The firming effects are yet to see results. I think usually for firming and lifting, you won’t see results until you have used up at least one bottle and use it consistently. Nonetheless, the first impression of this serum is nice and so far it doesn’t break me out or irritate my skin.
