Where I got it: I was sent the December issue of Lust have it! subscription service. Lust have it is a subscription service providing beauty samples. For $19.90 each month, you will receive 5-6 deluxe sample sized beauty products where at least one of them will be full sized!
What I got: This is the December issue of the Lust have it! It comes in a pretty red mesh bag with a gold zipper (great as makeup bags!). This month is is a mixture of skincare and makeup with brands that are new to me, brands I have heard of and brands I have tried previously. Let’s take a look what’s inside this month’s bag!
How I find it:
Designer Brand Extend A Brow ($12.99 from www.dbcosmetics.com.au). Extend A Brow’s silk fibres bond to brows in just one swipe to create a fuller, more defined look. The ultra-fine mineral fibre instantly corrects and thickens brows, helping to shape the face, balance features and bring out your eyes. This is a brush-on silky fibres for the brows in Light Medium. Similar to Benefit’s Gimme Brows, this little tube contains brown fibres with brown powder. Simply brush directly onto brows and let the fibres adhere to your natural brow hair. I usually wipe off the excess on a piece of tissue because there is simply too much fall off when it reaches my brows. It provides subtle pigment to the brows and appears to fill them up with extra fibres. It doesn’t fall off from the brows unless you either shake your head real hard or rub them vigorously.
Inika Pure Primer ($60 for 50ml from www.inika.com.au). INIKA Pure Primer is a certified organic blend that offers protection and hydration for the skin prior to makeup application. With delectable ingredients such as avocado and apricot, Pure Primer preps the skin, providing an even canvas for foundation application and improves the staying power of your makeup. This primer is beautifully packaged in a black plastic bottle with gold writing. It comes with a pump under the black lid for precise dispensing. The white primer has a lotion texture that is not too thick and not too slippery.
The Cosmetic Kitchen Raw Chocolate Clay Mask ($24.95 for 50g from www.thecosmetickitchen.com.au). This clay mask contains powerful raw cacao antioxidant and nourishing Australian pink clay. To apply, mix up the avocado recipe supplied on the packet or with water, to form a smooth paste. OMG smells so delicious! The clay base acts as an oil absorbing element and the mask dries down to a hard/crackling texture on the face. It does get a little dry on the skin afterwards.
The Cosmetic Kitchen Chocolate Rock Salt ($18.50 for 200g from www.thecosmetickitchen.com.au). Indulge and heal with this detoxifying bath soak, contains raw cacao, a potent antioxidant that blocks free radicals. These rough rock salt is coated with cacao powder which dissolves in the water. The rock salt takes a while to dissolve but there is a hint of chocolate in the water.
Lonvitalite C1 Masks ($9.95 for 25ml mask from www.lonvitalite.com.au). Moisturising and nourishing, smooths out wrinkles and replenishes skin with moisture, Vitamin C aids in inhibiting the product of melanin effectively brightening the skin. Can reduce skin damage caused by exposure to UVA and UVB.
Overall: This month’s bag is filled a range of different full sized products – from makeup, to skincare and body products as well! The Cosmetic Kitchen and INIKA are brands I have tried previously, but Designer Brand and Lonvitalite are new products and brand for me. Interesting to try sheet masks by non-Asian manufacturer and it is actually not too bad. The total value of this month’s bag is AUD$126.39!
