Where I got it: I was sent this for consideration from Antipodes (thank you!). You can purchase Antipodes products from Farmers, selected pharmacies and www.antipodesnature.com. This serumis available in stores from 1st April 2015 for RRP$54.50.
What I got: This is a 30ml bottle of Antipodes Worship Superfruit Antioxidant Serum. Keep skin youthful! Fortify skin cells against early ageing and free radical damage with this water-based serum accenting the antioxidant potency of New Zealand-grown superfruit. Boysenberry, blackcurrant, kiwifruit and revolutionary antioxidant Vinanza Grape® from grapeseeds are extracted with a technique using only pure water for high natural bioactivity and no chemical residue. With shots of coffee berry, açaí and the essential fatty acid alpha lipoic acid (ALA), this is a supreme daily organic skin booster. Scientifically shown to inhibit oxidative stress in-vitro by up to 90%.
How I find it: After cleansing and toning, I dispense about 3 drops of this serum on my palm and massage it all over my face. The serum is very lightweight and fluid – almost like berry juice. The serum is quickly absorbed without leaving a sticky film residue on the skin or a heavy feeling. Immediately, I apply my usual day or night moisturiser.
Overall: Love this serum! I love the light texture and how it is so quickly absorbed! It smells like berries, but not too strong. Antioxidant is very important in my skincare requirements right now to prevent ageing so an antioxidant serum is a must! I love to use this during the day after my Paula’s Choice 2% BHA liquid, then I follow with my recent Za Perfect Solution Restoring Collagen Cream and a sunscreen to protect my skin. At night, I use this every other night alternating with my Manuka Doctor Radiance Serum. This serum is definitely a staple in my skincare routine and it is so gentle on the skin it does not cause irritation or breakouts. Should be suitable for all skin types!
