Lush Cosmetics Mother’s Day 2015

Where I got it: I was sent this lovely box of Lush Cosmetics Mother’s Day 2015 limited edition products! These beautiful products are available from Lush stores nationwide from 16th April to 11th May.

What I got: In this lovely box, there is a bottle of Yummy Mummy shower gel, a small tub of Yummy Mummy body conditioner, a Mother Superior Bubble Bar, a Love You Mum soap and a Rose Bombshell Bath Bomb.

How I find it:

Mother Superior Bubble Bar. This one is the Mother of all Bubble Bars! Mother Superior is as fragrant as blooming cherry blossoms in the spring. Crumble her under running water to release that familiar and intoxicating floral scent as the tub fills with a mountain of skin-softening bubbles. Whether you’re picking up one for your own Mother or for yourself, this is one habit you’ll want to break again and again.   This little bubble bar looks so cute! It looks an angry-mum’s face and it cracks me up! Reminds me of when I used to make mum so angry she wants to jump up and down and chase me around the house (oh, mum. I love you!). Break the bubble bar under a running tap to create heaps of bubbles and a bath full of nice-smelling sky blue coloured water! Make sure you break it in piece and under the running tap. Dropping the entire thing into the bath water doesn’t work!

Love You Mum soap. Our limited edition Love You Mom soap is gorgeous and elegant, making it perfect for any Mom. Handcrafted with mimosa and jasmine absolutes, this sudser features an original LUSH scent that’s designed to relax and calm the mind. It’s a great bathing companion for busy Moms, giving them a reason to inhale and exhale to find a little peace and calm in their hectic days. Bonus, they’ll be heavenly soft and scented, too.  A simple bar of soap in the shape of a flower.

Rose Bombshell bath bomb. Rose Bombshell is a brand new LUSH invention! Drop this one into the tub, and as the outer Bath Bomb shell fizzes away it releases a luxurious cascade of real red rose petals and softening salts. Soy milk powder creates creamy, skin-softening waters, and the original fragrance of rose oil, rosewood and orange flower absolute carries your troubles far, far away. It’s a whole new level of bathing luxury, just for Mother’s Day!    This bath bomb looks nice and simple – white with a dried rose in the centre. When you shake it, it rattles with the softening salts inside. Fill up the bath with water, drop this little beauty in and see the gentle fizz giving a nice milky white tint to the water. Towards the centre it gives out a lovely rosey pink colour with some rose petals inside! Smells gorgeous!

Yummy Mummy body conditioner. Made with silky-soft butters, almond oil and a dash of fresh strawberry juice, we couldn’t call this one anything but Yummy! For the most luxuriously soft skin imaginable, this limited edition Body Conditioner is a sure bet for any Mom’s shower ritual. Smooth generously over your whole body in the shower or bath, then rinse away to reveal skin so soft and delicately scented, they’ll be calling you Yummy Mummy in no time.  I love how this body conditioner is not too strong on the fragrance side. it has a gentle scent that is not overwhelmingly sweet or floral. It’s got the same texture and moisturising effect as all Lush’s body conditioners. In the shower after cleansing, slather this onto wet skin all over your body, then rinse off and pat dry! You don’t need a moisturiser! But be warned that you will need to clean your shower floor after a few uses otherwise it will get slippery!

Yummy Mummy shower gel. This super shimmery shower gel will have you turning heads (and noses!). Geranium oil, Brazilian orange oil and tonka absolute are expertly blended together to create one of our most intoxicating, yet delicate, fragrances: Yummy Mummy. Fruity, sweet and dashed with a hint of luster, this shower gel will leave skin unimaginably soft and smelling like scrumptious strawberries. It’s well deserving of its name!  I really enjoy the fruity scent of this shower gel. It has an opaque lavender colour with a hint of silvery shimmers. Lather all over wet skin with hands or a shower puff for more lather!

Overall: The mother’s day limited edition products are really nice. I love the scent of these products, they are slightly lighter than the usual ones. Lush also has gift packs of these products in a lovely gift box all wrapped up so you can just pick them up, write on a card and pop them on mum’s bed! I am surely waiting for one day my little boy giving me my first mother’s day gift!
