Where I got it: I was sent these for considerations. You can find Schwarzkopf products from all leading department stores, supermarkets and pharmacies nationwide. The entire styliste ULTÎME range is affordable at RRP$9.95 each.
What I got: I was sent the Schwarzkopf styliste ULTÎME Satin Frizz Control Defrizz Cream and the styliste ULTÎME Biotin + Volume Soufflé. Once again, Claudia Schiffer has offered her insider knowledge and expertise for the development of the ultimate styling product range. styliste ULTÎME enables women to achieve their top four styling wishes; perfect hold for long-lasting style, a sleek, shiny finish, natural beach waves, and glamorously sexy volume. To achieve the most beautiful supermodel styles at home, the styliste ULTÎME product range has a unique formula which contains micro-styler technology. These micro-fine molecules combine to form a light, invisible layer that gives hair a perfect, long-lasting hold without being sticky. Thanks to carefully selected polymers, the hair invisibly binds where it touches.
How I find it:
Schwarzkopf styliste ULTÎME Satin Frizz Control Defrizz Cream ($9.95 for 150ml). For a perfectly manageable look and a sleek, shiny finish. With satin smooth serum, it reduces frizz and flyaways for dazzling sleekness and perfect manageability. This defrizz cream comes in an air-tight pump bottle. I use 2 pumps of this white defrizz cream after I towel dry my hair. The cream melts into my hair and doesn’t leave my hands feeling slippery. I then brush my hair through and blow dry as usual. I think 2 pump is perfect of my hair volume and length, any more would make it too heavy and weighed down. It gives a bit of control to my frizzy hair and the morning after I slept on it, my hair is smoother and I can pull it into a nice pony tail that is sleek, but not greasy. I love it. This is quite strongly fragranced, but I do like the smell of it. It lingers to your hair for hours.
Schwarzkopf styliste ULTÎME Biotin + Volume Soufflé ($9.95 for 100ml). Adds body and texture, even in long hair, without weighing down. With biotin-complex and extra root-lifting effect, adds body and texture to the hair from root to tip, without weighing down. I have never used such a product before so I was a little interested but skeptical of how the results will be like. After blowdrying my hair, or the morning after I washed my hair, I usually have enough volume, but if I do want more volume, I am suppose to take a small amount of this product and work into dry hair (mainly roots area). The texture of this souffle product is very interesting – it feels like a mousse from the tub and then once you spread it between your palms, it feels dry and grippy. I gently work the product into my hair near the roots, but I think I need some practice or I need to apply with fingertips rather than my palms.
Overall: Both products smells really nice, but it can be slightly overwhelming. I love the anti-frizz cream for blowdrying my hair. It weighs my hair down ever so slightly because my hair does need a bit of control from time to time. It smooths my hair, but not to the point that it looks oil-slickened. The souffle however, is not something I would use a lot. Maybe when I am styling my hair for a night out or an event, I could use this in the roots to give it some volume and lift, then tease the hair and either put it into a bun or an updo. Nonetheless, very affordable products.
