Clinique Turnaround Revitalising Range

Where I got this: I was sent these as preview samples from Clinique. The NEW Turnaround Revitalising range will be available in Clinique counters nationwide from early June 2015! Very exciting! I did notice that the range is already available in some Asia countries and the US so I have already seen some reviews and they have been great!

What I got: I was sent the NEW Clinique Turnaround Revitalising range. The range includes the follow: Revitalising Lotion, Revitalising Treatment Oil, Revitalising Serum, Daytime Revitalising Moisturiser and  Overnight Revitalising Moisturiser. Energy Boost Technology awakes from deep within by boosting skin’s natural cell renewal, which has slowed down due to stress, fatigue, and environmental aggressors. With advanced technology, these day and night products work with skin’s own cycle of renewal creating skin that looks healthy, glowing and luminous. Every day.

Clinique Turnaround Revitalising Lotion ($55 for 200ml). Inspired by beauty rituals from Asia, where women use a watery lotion after cleansing to restore moisture to skin, NEW Turnaround Revitalising Lotion hydrates and energies dull, fatigued skin’s. This alcohol free and oil free formula is designed to boost skin’s energy by fuelling it’s natural metabolic process of cellular renewal for a revitalised, renewed look.

This clear and un-fragranced lotion has a slightly thick watery texture. With a slightly squeezy clear bottle, the product comes in drops onto my palms. I use about 3 drops which is plenty for my face and neck. The texture is like gel, but watery so it glides onto my skin and is quickly absorbed. Frgrance free and alcohol free, this hydrates the skin really nicely. It feels fresh on the face while hydrating the skin and prepping it for the next product – oil/serum.

Clinique Turnaround Revitalising Treatment Oil ($59 for 30ml). As pioneers of gentle, twice a day exfoliation, Clinique understands the importance of promoting natural, optimal cell renewal for healthy, youthful-looking skin. Infused with a cocktail of ingredients to jump start skin’s natural renewal cycle. NEW Turnaround Revitalising Treatment Oil is a lightweight, nourishing oil that revitalises and re-texturises to restore brilliance, luminosity and smoothness to skin. Dry skin is soothed instantly and over time. With continued use, skin’s moisture barrier is strengthened.

This treatment oil is super lightweight and non-greasy. It has a low viscosity therefore is quite runny. I use about 4 drops of this on my palms, rub them together to warm it up, then press it onto my skin. With the warmth of my hands, it helps absorption and I never rub, trying not to disturb my skin by rubbing and tugging too much. This again is fragrance free and I love how light it is! I can even use it during the day because it doesn’t leave a greasy look on the skin at all! It gives a soft, natural glow to my skin. You can use it either before your serum and moisturiser, mix it in with your moisturiser or on top of you moisturiser to seal everything in! However, it may not be moisturising enough for dry skin.

Clinique Turnaround Revitalising Serum ($80 for 30ml or $115 for 50ml). Enchancing skin’s natural exfoliation process by integrating three crucial key stages in skin cell renewal – cell division, maturation and desquamation. The key ingredients in thie powerhosue serum help maintain these three activities to re-energise the skin. Clinically provent to deliver dramatic improvements in radiance and smoothness in just 4 weeks.

I use this serum after the Treatment Oil and before the moisturiser. The product is white in colour and has a serum/lotion texture that feels light and mattifying at the same time. After the lotion, treatment oil and the serum, my skin still feels really light. It doesn’t feel like I have put much product on my skin at all. I can also put on moisturiser on top immediately!

Clinique Turnaround Daytime Revitalising Moisturiser ($89 for 50ml). When skin appears fatigued due to dehydration, stress, and hectic schedules, it looks dull, flaky and lacks energy and vitality. NEW Turnaround Daytime Revitalising Moisturiser is a refreshinglu lightweight and oil-free moisturiser that delivers instant and lasting hyration to parched skins, without the shine. Available in two hues: Rosy Glow and Golden Glow. Skin-enhancing optics complement skin natural tone to instantly brighten and restore a naturally glowing compliexion while counteracting sallowness and dullness and signs of fatigue.

I have this moisturiser in Rosy Glow and it has a pearlecence glow to it. The moisturiser is lightweight and non-greasy. On the skin, it gets absorbed and leaves my skin shine-free but not totally matte. Hydrates and moisturises, but the down side is that it doesn’t have SPF as a daytime moisturiser.

Clinique Turnaround Overnight Revitalising Moisturiser ($94 for 50ml. The best time for skin to renew itself is during the body’s nightly sleep cycle, when skin is freed from the toll of environmental aggressors. This revitalising moisturiser addresses skin renewal by helping to provide the skin with moisturising and retexturising benefits that last throughout the night. This luxurious cream instantly leaves the skin hydrated with a velvetly soft feel. Wake up to healthier, more radiaant skin.

After the serum, I apply this night cream directly and massage it in with my fingertips. This is more moisturising and a little heavier than the daytime moisturiser, but still leaves the skin velvetly soft instead of greasy/sticky.

Overall: Absolutely love the range from packaging, scent to texture and effects! My favourite would be the revitalising lotion and the treatment oil. The range feels light on the skin and the products are absorbed easily and quickly. The light scent is really pleasant on the nose and does not linger. After about a month’s use, my skin feels refreshed and renewed without feeling stripped off or too greasy.
