Few weeks ago, Trilogy and barepr invited some bloggers to the Seafarers Club in Britomart Auckland for a quick session of Alchemy 101 to mix our own moisturiser!
Another cold night, barepr knows how to make us comfortable and host great events. Very thoughtful of them for having the event after working hours – I can never really make it to launch events in the middle of the day in the city central! We were greeted with the lovely people from barepr and Trilogy, then a glass of refreshing raspberry mocktail with freeze-dried raspberries (so yum!).

After some chatting, we sat down for some hands on fun stuff! At each seat, we all had a small snaplock bag containing a plastic jar of a mixture of essential ingredients including the famous Rosehip Oil, an ice cream stick (new, unused), a syringe, a label sticker and some tissues (to wipe up mess). We used the syringe to added about 6ml of hot water into the jar , mix it up with the stick then use the syringe to mix and pump air into the moisturiser mixture. After about 10 minutes of hardwork (no lumpy bits), we got to choose between 2 fragrances (natural essential oils) to add to our moisturiser. It was between the traditional Trilogy scent or the Greenology scent (I chose this one). Mix, then label the jar.
