Where I got it: I was sent the June issue of Lust have it! subscription service. Lust have it is a subscription service providing beauty samples. For $19.90 each month, you will receive 5-6 deluxe sample sized beauty products where at least one of them will be full sized! Recently they have changed their packaging from a pretty red mesh cosmetics bag into a foldable cardboard box. Last month was a black box, this month is silver!
What I got: This is the June issue of the Lust have it! It comes in a glossy silver foldable cardboard ‘box’ and a card containing all the information of the products in the box. This month is is a mixture of skincare and makeup with brands that are new to me and brands I have tried previously. Let’s take a look what’s inside this month’s bag/box!
How I find it:
Teeez Trend Cosmetics – Eve’s Ready to Wear Lipstick ($32 full size from www.teeez.eu).Thanks to its specially added wild mango and deliciously rich formula of Eve’s Ready to Wear Lipstick nourishes, hydrates and repairs cracked or dry lips. This is a really pigmented red lipstick. Moisturising and gives even colour.
NAK Thermal Shield ($25.95 full size from www.nakhair.com.au). Weatherproofs hair from harsh styling factors. Style safely knowing you have a reliable styling armour of thermal protection working for you. Helps to resis humidity and combat frizz, shielding your hair from high heat. After washing my hair, I towel dry my hair and spray this lightly all over my hair. Then I blow dry my hair with a paddle brush. I find that it feels like I sprayed hair spray in my hair and tried to blow dry it! Gosh my hair was so tangled and feels so gritty I wanted to wash it all off! The feeling didn’t go away until my hair was well brushed out. Did not like this product!
Chapstick Hydration Lock ($4.99 full size). Say goodbye to dry lips with Dual Action Hydration Lock. First apply Hydration to soothe lips – then Lock in moisturisation for up to 8 hours with the other end. Its the best of both worlds for happy, healthy lips every day. I love using this at night to give my lips moisture and protect it through the night. No scent and no colour so it’s easy to use under lipstick. But the down side is when my fingers are slippery it’s hard to pull the small cap off.
The Cosmetic Kitchen Peppermint Foot Mask ($24.95 full size). Follow the recipe on the pack to make your Happy Feet Foot Mask and say goodbye to sad winter toes. This full size, new release is packed with pure peppermint and tea-tree from The Cosmetic Kitchen. Cruelty-free, Vegan and Proudly Australian. This smells amazing – I love the smell, but it is quite a hassel to do a mask for my feet let alone I have to mix it up to get it ready. After that I cannot walk around… maybe I’m lazy, maybe I’m busy, I don’t really have time for this!
The Cosmetic Kitchen Wake Up Body Scrub ($29.95 full size). If ever there was a decadent skin ritual, scrubbing away your skin sins with a lush mix of the finest raw sugards, organic coffee and alkalising salts infused with pink organic clay and pure essential oils… would come pretty close. This smells soooooo good! It almost has a hint of cocoa in it! Dry scrubbing is a little new to me as it tends to just fall onto the floor instead of doing any scrubbing on my body. I dampen my hands and my skin a little before scrubbing so the product sticks to my skin.
Overall: This month’s bag has a good mixture of skincare, makeup and body/hair care. Overall, the box is valued at $117.84. The combination of things are actually quite nice. However, there are a couple of products that I either did not like, or is not really suitable for me at all. Anyway, I love the lip balm and the lipstick and will continue using them.
