Za True White Perfect Protector SPF50+ PA++++

Where I got it: This was one of the products in the goodie bag I got from a recent Moisture Mist / Za event. To find a list of Za stockists in New Zealand visit their Facebook page. This is RRP$20.00.

What I got: This is a 30b tube of Za True White Perfect Protector SPF50+ PA++++. Contains the world’s finest level 0.02 micron UV cut agent, Za Perfect Protector forms a protective layer to prevent UV rays penetrating into skin. It also doubles as a makeup base to even out the skintone, provide oil control and brightening effect.

How I find it: After moisturising my skin, I apply eye cream under any sunscreen. I use a sunscreen of at least SPF30 even if my foundation or BB cream has sunscreen because you need a minimum amount of sunscreen to create an effective barrier (too thin a layer doesn’t do much help). I use about a 15mm diameter of this sunscreen and apply all over my face and neck. I do this religiously every morning even if I’m not going out. Then I apply my usual foundation/BB cream/CC cream, etc.

Overall: I absolutely adore this sunscreen! The texture, the finish, the SPF, the feeling on the skin, including the scent! I really believe in sun protection and SPF 50 PA++++ is pretty much the best you can find. Za’s Perfect Protector does this perfectly without it feeling thick and sticky on the skin. This is a little thicker than it’s sister product (Power Block), more like a sunscreen light lotion. It is great under makeup as it won’t make your skin sticky or feel like you’ve piled on heaps of layers. I have tried many sunscreens but Shiseido (Za is a brand under Shiseido) gets their sunscreen texture just perfect! I have been using Shiseido sunscreens for a long time and it will always be something that I go back to. Definitely recommend this one and their Power Block if you want extra fluid texture!
