blinc Eye Shadow Primer in Flesh Tone (RRP$39.95). Our Fountain of Youthful Color® Eye Shadow Primer allows you to have crease-free shadow all day, while providing your skin with anti-aging benefits at the same time. Our primer for eye shadow offers full coverage by concealing and filling existing fine lines, eliminating redness and providing a smooth lid. Then, any powder shadow can be applied for color that won’t crease, fade, smudge or run, even if you sweat or wear it in harsh weather conditions! At the end of the day, blinc’s primer for eye shadow is easily removed, only when you are ready, with any gentle makeup remover. It’s better than waterproof! In addition to superior hold, blinc’s primer for eye shadow contains anti-aging ingredients that clinical studies have shown to decrease fine lines after just six weeks by 67% and increase skin’s moisture after just one week by 53%. Also comes in Light Tone. 

This eyeshadow primer in flesh tone is pretty amazing. Firstly, the shade matches my skin exceptionally well and dries down matte without drying to the skin. Eyeshadow can be applied pretty much straight after and will go on smoothly and the colour will stay vibrant. Eyeshadow stays on longer without creasing.

blinc Mascara in Dark Blue and Dark Green (RRP$44.95). If you’re looking for a no-hassle, no-smudge mascara that you can take throughout your day with no re-application, blinc mascara is your answer. I have always loved blinc mascaras because of their tube innovation. It is easy to apply and will stay on without transfer, smudge or fallout for the entire day! Even with my oily skin and even after an afternoon nap! I think if I have to sleep with this mascara on (not likely that I would..) this will not budge unless I use a bit of warm water and some gentle pressure with my fingertips! I LOVE this in Dark Blue as it works really well with the Purple pencil liner (further down the post) – it enhances my dark brown eyes and adds a really subtle pop of colour. Dark Green however doesn’t show up very well on my black lashes – it looks more like a moss green than an emerald green (which would look so much better). You just need to reapply 2nd or 3rd coat quickly and not wait for it to dry, otherwise it doesn’t work. However there are 2 things I am disappointed about with blinc mascaras: 1. it does not separate my lashes but tends to make them stick together because of it’s wet formula; 2. it does not hold my curl – shortly after application, my lashes droops. 🙁

This eyeliner reminds of the MAC’s Liquidlast Eyeliner (which has been discontinued). It has a fine applicator brush and the formula is rather thick. I am not a really big fan of this because I love my liquid eyeliner (felt-tip type) to draw a simple line with a small flick without any eyeshadow. With this liquid eyeliner, the product goes on quite thick and the tip is quite hard to create a fine flick. Products get caught in my lashes and the line got wonky… I think this would be suitable for when I do more full on eye makeup with eye shadow and this would be applied over pencil eyeliner to define the colour? I will keep trying this product out to see how it works for me.

blinc Lash Primer (RRP$34.95). blinc lash primer was developed with two objectives in mind, lash/eyebrow treatment and eyelash enhancement. Developed by blinc to complement the blinc mascara, our lash primer provides a greater base of volume & length for your lashes, prior to applying your mascara. blinc lash primer is dye-free and does not contain any fumes or fragrances that will sting or irritate your eyes. It contains anti-inflammatory and healing agents to soothe and enhance the strength of your lashes/eyebrows while increasing their resistance to breakage. blinc lash primer is also enriched with Vitamin E which nourish by replenishing and augmenting the level of Vitamin B5 in your lashes/eyebrows. blinc lash primer imparts long lasting moisture, conditioning your lashes/eyebrows without any build-up. Best of all, blinc lash primer does not require any eye makeup remover. Like all blinc products, simply use warm water and gentle pressure for removal. 

This lash primer looks quite ordinary like any other lash primers – it is white and it builds up volume and length. But this works just like other blinc mascaras and washes off with your mascaras like tubes! So I apply this after I curl my lashes, I wait about 30 seconds between each coat and they don’t really clump, but build quite nice volume. After the last coat, I let it dry for another minute or so before I apply my blinc mascara over the top – this works so much better with coloured mascaras as it creates a white base for the coloured mascara to stick onto instead of my black lashes. My coloured mascara is now more vibrant and more volume.

blinc Eyeliner Pencil in Purple (RRP$39.95). blinc’s eyeliner pencil offers unsurpassed hold while conditioning and treating skin at the same time. I was initially quite skeptical about how this eyeliner would be smudge-proof and water-proof as well as long-lasting, but it was actually quite good! The purple shade is quite beautiful for my brown eyes (I love pairing it with the dark blue mascara) and it gives me a hint of colour. I love using this on my lash line, but I would definitely try it on my water line and my bottom lash line when I go out! Also, I just sharpen it with a normal sharpener.

Overall: I love pretty much all of the products but my favourite would be the mascaras followed closely by the primer and the pencil eyeliner. I love the tube mascara formula as it does not transfer or melt onto my lower eye area no matter how long I wear them for! This is pretty much the ONLY mascara that does not run. The down side of these tube mascaras are that they don’t really do much for volumizing and keeping my curls. But fear not, the primer is here to help! I apply 2 coats of the primer before I use the mascara and it helps so much in creating volume!  Absolutely must have if you love the tube mascara but it doesn’t seem to create enough volume for you. Would definitely recommend these mascaras to people with problems of their mascaras running and transferring.
