What I got: This is the Lancôme Hypnôse Volume-à-porter Mascara. In a single stroke, lashes are dressed in elegant daytime volume: lash by lash, s striking yet incredibly natural black is revealed. The lash fringe in intense and supple, feather-light with pure comfort. Its fluid texture is infinitely re-workable, with no risk of errors: application is simply mistake-proof, for incomparable results. The first ever elastomere brush is a flexible head that emerges from a delicate stem. This offers all the deft needed for precision application, combined with the sensoriality of an incredibly soft brush. Its 306 bristles provides generous application without overloading. It contains the right amount to ensure more intense colour coupled with lighter volume. Its hybrid formula comprises a melt-in cream texture and a resistant smudge-proof formula. it is designed for optimum hold, featuring latex to adhere in a very smooth film to lashes. As the week go by, its complex which is enriched with an exclusive Lancôme Native Rose Cells extract helps leave bare lashes softer and more resistant for a denser, thicker lash fringe.
Lancôme Hypnôse Volume-à-porter Mascara
How I find it: I have been trying this mascara on its own – as in no eyeliner, no eye shadow because I want to know how good this holds up without melting or transferring. After curling my lashes, I apply 2 coats of this mascara on my upper lashes (I usually don’t do my lower lashes because I simply don’t have any lol.) and I have tried 3 coats and there are surprisingly no clumps! I love the rubber bristles – they are soft and coats my lashes really well. They separate and volumize without making my lashes look spidery at all.
Overall: I love this mascara – it has a really nice formula that is not too wet and not too dry. It has a natural glossy finish and it dries down quite fast. I am so impressed that it did not transfer to my under eye area for the entire day (at least 9 hours!) My eye area is so clean when I go and remove my makeup. It is not waterproof but it doesn’t budge on my lashes! This is my first time trying out Lancôme mascaras and all the hype and rave about these Hypnôse mascaras are no bull! It fans out my lashes, separates and gives it nice volume that is not too exaggerating. It feels soft to the touch too – never hard or sticky. Removal is easy with just my cleansing oil or micellar water. Will be using these daily! I’ll be exploring more Lancôme’s mascaras!
