- Chamomile and a mixture of Manuka and Honeydew honey provide a soothing and healing action.
How I find it: Usually body lotions I use don’t come in a tube especially when they are this big in size. They are usually in pump bottles. However, the cap of the squeezy tube is easy to flip open and the tube itself is quite soft so it is easy to get the product out. The consistency of the lotion is also not too fluid so it won’t flow out and be a mess. Another good thing about tubes are when you get to the end of the tube, you can cut it open to scoop out the remaining product which means less waste! I like to use body lotions either after a shower or before bed. I usually don’t use it in the morning unless my legs are super dry or I need to go out with bare legs.
Overall: This lotion is a little yellow-tinted which is natural, it smells like something from Lush for some reason, but it is not too strong. The consistency is more of a cream lotion instead of a fluid lotion so it feels really soothing on really dry skin. Recently I have been kneeling a lot while playing with Asher my 17 month old son. Even though I have been wearing pants that cover my knees, the friction between my knee and my pants and really does get quite rough. I now have patches around my knees that are super dry and even to the point of cracking. Sigh. I have been using this lotion after shower and applying generously before I go to sleep hoping it will help out. I think I would need to apply twice a day and do less kneeling to save my ugly knees!
Lovely post!!
