Where I got it: I was sent the November issue of Lust have it! subscription service. Lust have it is a subscription service providing beauty samples. For $19.90 each month, you will receive 5-6 deluxe sample sized beauty products where at least one of them will be full sized!
What I got: This is the December issue of the Lust have it! It comes in a pink mesh bag with an information card (I did receive an email with the information). This month is is a mixture of makeup, body care, and skin care with brands that are new to me and brands I have tried previously. Let’s take a look what’s inside this month’s bag/box!
How I find it:
Garnier Miracle Skin Cream (5ml trial size. full size 50ml for RRP $19.99). Garnier invents Miracle Skin Cream, the anti-ageing cream with instant and long-term results. A breakthrough formula with 12 patents that combines self-adjusting technology with anti-ageing benefits for an instant and long-lasting transformation. Enriched with 7 anti-ageing actives and SPF 15 protection, fights against the signs of ageing for lasting results. In 28 days, wrinkles and imperfections are reduced, complexion is more even and skin is firmer.
At first, I thought this was just a normal day cream or moisturiser but when I tried it on the back of my hand, it is actually a tinted moisturiser! It has a rather strong scent which I am not a big fan of, but I tried it today and it looks very natural on my skin. Minimum coverage but moisturising.
Manna Kadar Lip Chubbie in xoxo (RRP$24). This colorful priming lip chubbie is the perfect item to add to your makeup collection! A pop of color that can look great wiht any kind of makeup look! These one of a kind chubbies contain a built in primer and Vitamin A & E to nourish lips while ensuring all day color!
This chubbie stick has a black plastic lid and a twist up bottom. This one is moisturising and very pigmented! It leaves a nice sheen and feels creamy on the lips. This shade complements my skin colour and works well with my natural lip colour as well!
Evelyn Iona Natural & Organic Concealor (1.7g deluxe size. 3g full size for RRP$19.80). Vitamin E, cocoa seed butter, organic coconut, jojoba and castor seed oil, your skin is going to love this! A smooth, creamy light coverage that will help hide imperfections with a dewy natural glow.
This little tub was twist shut like a clam and I could NOT open it! I thought I was going to skip reviewing this because of that but I finally opened it! It is a rather dry formula which I guess is because of the tub container it comes in. I tried to use my index finger to get the product out and it was a little hard to get anything decent. The shade is pretty much spot on for my skintone (lucky). The coverage was medium to which it couldn’t entirely cover the mole on my hand, but that is a rather dark one.
Ulta3 Cream Blush Stick in Bold Apricot (RRP$6.95). Highlight your cheeks with blendable, buildable colour. Ulta3 blush sticks are easy to apply, sweeping gently onto cheeck bones for a fresh an natural looking glow.
What a cute little blush stick! I can also use this as a lippie! It has a bit of a sheen/glossy finish so I would draw a line where I want my blush to be and then blend out using my fingers or a round top kabuki brush. This shade would suit a lot of skintones and would look great for summer.
Coral Colours Love Lips in Peach Sorbet (RRP$6.99). Delivers a rich uniform colour in a creamy smooth formula. Its superior blend of care ingredients leave lips smoother and healthier in appearance.
Cute little container just the EOS lipbalms but with a clear lid so you can see exactly what the shade is. However it is a pain to open or close when you have a slightly slippery hands!! The lip balm smells like coconuts and I love it! The shade is a very natural coral pink that is super wearable on a daily basis. It is quite sheer and creamy and it feels like a lip balm more than anything on my lips.
Overall: This month’s bag is quite nice overall because the products, lip stick/balm shades are right up my alley! My disappointment would be the concealor in the dingy container that has pretty much dried up so I can’t really use it. However, the overall value of this bag still exceeds the cost of the bag. Just taking into account full sized items, there is at least a value of $37.94. Not too crazy in terms of value for money, but still not too bad.
