Where I got it: I bought this from Farmers for $56.00 as a little Valentine’s day present for myself. It is a new product from Shiseido and Farmers was doing a gift with purchase where you purchase this Quick Fix Mist and you get a small travel size version and a small deluxe sample size of the Ibuki Refining Moisturiser in a cotton tote bag.
What I got: This is a 50ml spray bottle of the Shiseido Ibuki Quick Fix Mist. Refresh, re-smooth, re-moisturize. This dewy, refreshing gel mist visibly corrects shine, dehydration, and day-worn stressed skin, while preventing makeup from wearing off or creasing. Shiseido Ibuki Quick Fix Mist
How I find it: You can use this mist anytime at all. I’ve used this as a makeup fixing spray, a hydrating spray before moisturiser, a hydrating spray before touching up, or just a refreshing spray whenever I feel like it. Just lightly close my eyes and spray about 4-5 times all over the face. I just let it absorb and dry off on the skin but you can also pat it into the skin with fingertips.
Overall: Initially, I saw the advertisement of this Quick Fix Spray and their new Sleeping Mask on Facebook, so I head onto Shiseido to test it out. I have been looking for a hydrating spray that I could use during the day before touch-up or just to refresh or hydrate my skin during this hot summer we have right now in New Zealand. It has a nice fresh scent but it does not linger for long. Not sure if it reduces shine, but I have applied it over makeup in the middle of the day it is absorbed really quickly and doesn’t move or melt my makeup. The downside is that the spray bottle isn’t the best quality – it doesn’t come out as a large area fine mist, but a small area of mist with little spits. I love the little travel size so I can keep it in my makeup bag and I can refill it with the bigger bottle when I use it up!
