Where I got it: I was sent this for consideration from Antipodes. You can purchase Antipodes products from Farmers, department stores and online.
What I got: This is a 30ml glass jar of Antipodes Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream. Created in New Zealand to be a cooling, soothing treatment for the eye area, Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream also features carrot seed oil and native New Zealand manuka flower. Carrot seed oil promotes skin that glows with good health while manuka flower oil is a healing and anti-wrinkle agent. Scientifically shown to stimulate synthesis of Type I collagen production in human fibroblast skin cells by up to an impressive 82%, this eye cream is an essential product for women concerned with addressing the signs of ageing. Its key ingredient is kiwi seed oil. The high concentrations of Antipodes Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream in the oil extracted from the seeds of kiwifruit make it the perfect ingredient for natural skin care as it can dramatically help to maintain moisture in the skin. Only 1% of each luscious kiwifruit comprises seeds, and these tiny super seeds are expeller-pressed to extract their pure oil.
How I find it: Applying this to my eye area after toning my skin I use my index finger and pat it on, then gently massage. The jar packaging makes it just a little difficult to pick up the product if you have long fingernails and if you are a hygiene freak. Would very much prefer this in a tube packaging!
Overall: The eye cream is hydrating and moisturising but not greasy or thick on the skin at all. On the skin, it feels almost like a gel! Super lightweight and can be a bit cooling too! It’s absorbed quickly and does not cause my undereye concealer to move or bunch up. Hopefully through time, it will keep my fine lines around the lines at bay!
