What I got: I was sent the YSL Touche Eclat Le Teint in B50 Honey and the Pinceau Y BrushYSL Beaute introduces a new generation, advanced formula that has the powder to visibly awaken and energize the skin. Marking a new dawn in flawless complexion, it delivers sublime radiance, weightless, and the perfect coverage for an even luminous skin enlivened with a healthy-looking glow.  The iconic, magic light of Touche Eclat, now encapsulated in a perfected foundation with new strands of innovation.

New Catchlight Technology – Translucent hybrid semi-spheres have been added to golden pigments to capture light and diffuse a continuous, controlled, soft radiance all day long – without any shine.  Combined to the existing pigments, this association offers a zero-weight, flawless, translucent coverage that allows light to breathe through. This lighter-than-ever, ultra-comfortable fluid feels lightweight on the skin.

Touche Eclat Anti-fatigue Complex – Now infused with the anti-fatigue complex house inside the Touche Eclat pen, Touche Eclat Le Teint banishes shadows and dispels dullness instantly. Vitamin E protect from free radicals, while Ruscus Extract helps to combat visible signs of fatigue, soothes skin and boosts micro-circulation.

The collection of foundation shades sits at 22 tones. Organised in families, they range from beiges to golden and rose beiges, from the lightest to the darkest tones, including four brand new additions – BD25 Warm Beige, BD30 Warm Almond, B45 Bisque, BR45 Cool Bisque.

Y-Brush. YSL Beaute has developed a tailored perfecting brush to accompany Touche Eclat Le Teint. Unlike any other foundation brush, it features a scooped-out section at the top in the shape of a Y, which offers two unique benefits:

  1. The Y forms a tiny reservoir in which to disperse 1 to 2 drops of Touche Eclat Le Teint, ensuring the correct starting measure.
  2. It provides the ideal structure for an impeccable, pro application with ultimate ease. The sturdiness of the bristles enables the ritual of buffing and distributing the foundation evenly across the skin for a perfect, natural yet sophisticated coverage and makeup finish.

How I find it: I like to use about 2 pumps on the back of my hand and apply to my face with fingertips, then I like to use a damp beauty blender to blend it out. 2 pump provides really good medium coverage that evens out skin tone. I like to use another half a pump to cover my acne scars on my cheeks and chin area. I love using a damp beauty blender to just dab the foundation onto my skin. I lightly powder my t-zone with a translucent powder to set everything. I can use concealer under or over it by using patting motions.

Overall: First of all, shade match is awesome. B50 Honey matches my summer skin perfectly. The foundation has a natural glow that does not look shiny whatsoever and it feels really lightweight.. Using the brush would create a more flawless look with full coverage. It covers my pores without getting into my lines or any dry areas. It doesn’t sink into pores and make them obvious, but the skin looks really naturally flawless.
