Where I got it: I bought this from the Kiehl’s store in New Market for $50. Quite a good value for a big 142g jar I reckon. I also got their Blue Herbal Spot Treatment.
What I got: This is a 142g tub of Kiehl’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque with Amazonian White Clay. Suitable for normal to oily skin with clogged pores and congested skin. It intensively purifies to minimise pores. Kiehl’s Rare Earth Pore Cleansing Mask is a thoroughly cleansing masque ideal for normal to oily skin types that helps eliminate debris and dead surface skin-cell accumulation that can clog pores and leave skin looking dull. With ingredients sourced from the Marajo Island at the mouth of the Amazon River, the unique formula is rich in minerals and helps eliminate surface toxins from the skin. The deep-cleansing masque purifies skin, leaving the appearance of pores minimized and skin refined.

How I find it: After cleansing my face I pat dry my skin and use my fingers to take out some of the product be apply directly to my skin. The texture of the mask is a rather soft clay that is easily spreadable on the skin. A thin even layer is good to go so you don’t need to use heaps each time. Wait for 10 minutes or until the mask dries and then wash off. After washing I use the Kiehl’s Iris Extract activating essence and a light serum or moisturiser.
Overall: The mask feels really nice on my skin. Slight tingling when applied but not overly drying and tight on my skin. Washing off is also easy even with just fingertips. If you wish, you can also use a face cloth to help out. After washing, my face feels so cleans and fresh! It almost feels like my skin is breathing! My pores have diminished but not all gone, my skin looks brighter and my blemishes also diminished. No redness on my skin whatsoever. The morning after my skin still feels really nice and makeup goes on really nicely and my skin did not produce excess oil the next day. Definitely staying in my vanity drawer and would be using this as often as I can!
