What I got: This is the June issue of the Lust have it! It came in a pink mesh bag with an information card. This month is is a mixture of makeup, skincare and body care with brands that are new to me and brands I have tried previously. Let’s take a look what’s inside this month’s bag/box!

How I find it:
Edgy Tempting Cosmetics Eyeliner Pen (RRP$15 from www.goshcopenhagen.com). The perfect eyeliner pen ensures a fine spreading of the colour pigments. THe long lasting colour stays for many hours and is also amazingly easy to apply.
This colour is really not something I would wear so unfortunately I haven’t even swatched it and gave it away to a colleague.

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Wipes (full size RRP$12.99). Gentle, ultra-soft cloths offer you superior cleansing and makeup removal at your fingertips. Gently and effectively dissolves all traces of dirt, oil and makeup in seconds. Patented formula is so effective, it easily removes even waterproof mascara. Leaves skin thoroughly clean with no heavy residue, so there’s no need to rinse.
I like the convenience of cleansing wipes especially when they remove makeup. After work, sometimes I just like to remove my eye makeup and lip makeup and using a cleansing wipe you can actually choose what to remove instead of removing the whole face of make up in one go. It is also good to remove light to medium duty makeup, and I usually follow it up with a wash off cleanser as well. The wipes are in decent size that will over the entire face and is quite durable and does not drag the skin.

Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub (full size 125ml RRP $12.99). Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub is the daily cleansing scrub with Beta Hydroxy to clean deep down into your pores, yet is gentle enough to use everyday. Skin looks and feels soft and smooth after just one use.
I generally really like Neutrogena’s cleansers and scrubs – this one has a slight fresh fragrance that is not too strong and does not linger. It has 2 types of exfoliating beads – larger, round orange ones, and irregular shaped, smaller white ones. I’m not sure if they are biodegradable, but they do a really gentle scrub on the face and rinses off easily. If they are no biodegradable, I will not purchase this with my own money.

Sasy n Savy Peppermint n Rosemary Revive Bath n Shower Gel (30ml. full size 250mL for RRP$35). Peppermint n Rosemary Revive Bath n Shower Gel is ideal for all types of skin and everyday use. Plant-derived gel cleanser that foams-away impurities and helps normalize skin. Leaves skin feeling soft and refreshed. SLS free.
This is quite a usual clear shower gel but the fragrance of rosemary is rather interesting. It lathers up alright and rinses off easily. Nothing too amazing over this shower gel, I’ve only used this as a shower gel, not a bath gel.

Paula’s Choice Resist Intensive Wrinkle-Repair Retinol Serum. I had a sample of this product before and have not been able to use it because I was breastfeeding and could not use retinol. This time, I am pregnant and I could not use retinol again! Nonetheless, I love Paula’s Choice products and I have been using it constantly. No doubt this will be another good one, but right now, I will give this away to a girlfriend so it doesn’t go to waste!

Overall: I was quite happy to see products from Paula’s Choice as well as Neutrogena because they are both brands that I really like. Unfortunately, I cannot use the Paula’s Choice Wrinkle Serum because I cannot use retinol, but I would like to see more from Paula’s Choice in the future! Neutrogena is a classic skincare product that is an oldie but a goodie. I would like to see some sunscreen products from them in the future. Overall, it is quite hard to work out the value of this month’s bag because most of the products are either sample size or deluxe sizes..
