What I got: This is a 15ml tub of Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch. This award winning makeup primer is the perfect combination of make-up and skin care. How I find it: After moisturiser and sun protection, I use the spatula it came with to scoop a small amount of the product and put it on my fingertips and gently apply and smooth it onto my nose and cheek area where I have large pores and prone to excess oil areas. I either use this on its own or I usually use a foundation or BB cream over it and it glides on smoothly without products pill-ing up or getting into dry patches or pores.
Overall: This product was a little unexpectedly good in my opinion. I was half expecting that this would be a very slippery silicon-textured primer that covers pores well but sits on top of the skin and doesn’t work well with foundation over the top. However, to my surprise, my foundation goes on smoothly without moving around or bunching up in areas! I love how smooth it makes my skin, but not feel greasy or too slippery at all. It sat well on my skin and blurred out my pores. You can use this on targeted areas with or without foundation, it slightly mattifies the skin creating a natural finish instead of a dead matte look.
