Where I got it: I ordered this from q-depot on 22/9/16 and it was delivered directly from Korea on 1/10/16. This was USD$11.76. I was actually wanting to go with the green toned base, but on the website, they only had 3 choices and they were in numbers. However, the pictures do not show any numbering in reference to the shades they offered which was strange. So I just ordered and hoped for the best. I guess I could have requested help. Anyway, this peach colour brightens the skin anyway and I think it will suit my skin tone as well.
What I got: This is a 40ml tube of Innisfree Mineral MakeUp Base SPF30 PA++. A mineral base layer for bright skin tone and smooth skin texture. 1. 4-in-1 multibase to enhance skin tone, act as a primer, balance oil and moisture, and protect against UV rays.
How I find it: I am using this as a makeup base and my sunscreen as it’s got really good SPF30. With about 2 pea size of this product, it covers my entire face and neck very well with really good colour-correcting effects. My face is instantly brightened and skin tone looks much more even. However, if you have a slightly darker skin tone, then this is probably a little bit too pale/white for you. You almost need to be quite fair/light medium to be able to use this without looking too pale and ashy. It blends out evenly without streaks or falling into my pores. It is slightly moisturising with a natural finish so that you can apply foundation directly over or not at all. I prefer to use a BB cream or something light coverage because this has already dealt with my uneven skin tone and provided brightening.
Overall: A very nice makeup base because it has SPF 30 so I don’t need to apply a sunscreen under this which is just more and more products. On casual days, I can just wear this without foundation or BB cream, but will definitely wear a blush and highlighter. It doesn’t really help with oil control, but I love how it brightens my skin in a healthy looking way.
If you see below, it is a comparison with the Missha Lighting Tone Up Base (right). The Innisfree one is more pigmented and a more opaque base compared to Missha and a slightly peachy-pink undertone. Missha has more of a yellow undertone. While both have a similar consistency, Innisfree does a better job at colour-correcting and evening out the skin tone.
