What I got: This is a 50ml tub of Nivea Pure & Natural Moisturising Day Cream. Suitable for normal to combination skin. Pure & Natural Moisturising Day Cream provides intensive 24 hour moisture and freshness for naturally soft, smooth skin. It is free from parabens, silicons, colourants and mineral oils. The formulation works by Combining Natural ingredients like Organic Aloe Vera and Organic Argan Oil both organically grown.

How I find it: Since this day cream doesn’t have any SPF, I don’t see why I can’t use this at night as well so I have been using it day and night. It comes in a tub with a foil seal over it. While it’s not the most hygienic packaging, creams are usually packaged like that anyway. The cream is just an ordinary white colour with an almost gel-cream texture threat feels lightweight on the skin but still very hydrating. It is not greasy or thick but feels really smooth on the face. It has a really pleasant scent which I really love but can mean that it contains quite a bit of fragrance because it does linger for a while.
Overall: I got this purely because I saw an article about how this cream was rated higher than the La Mer Gel Cream Moisturiser and I had to give this a try. At only $13 from a local supermarket, it was easily the more accessible and affordable face cream option. While I have never tried the La Mer cream before this Nive Pure and Natural day cream is actually pretty good. Ticks all my boxes for a moisturiser – moisturising but not greasy, doesn’t break me out, I can use this day and night, lightweight texture and smells amazing. Best of all it is very affordable.
