Where I got it: I ordered this from the BH cosmetics website for $14.50. I actually haven’t visited their website before but heard of the brand. I’m so excited to see their really affordable prices and that their shipping to New Zealand was really reasonable! I ordered this on 5/9/16 and it arrived on 16/9/16.
What I got: This is the Illuminate Beach Goddess Palette by BH Cosmetics and Ashley Tisdale. How I find it: The palette came in a sturdy cardboard flip open packaging with a decent sized mirror. Would have been better if there was a magnetic closure to the palette. There are “highlighter” shades but I would say it was a blush, highlighter and a bronzer. The highlighter shade St. Lucia is a rather dark highlighter with a very fine shimmer. The blush shade Bermuda is a very soft pink with a hint of golden shimmer that is really subtle. The bronzer shade Seychelles is a matte chocolate brown bronzer that is quite pigmented so a very light hand would do.
The rest of the eyeshadow shades are quite earth-toned with a nude, brown and golden theme. The shades are really easy to wear for pretty much all skin tone. I love using Fiji, Maui and Bora Bora as my main eye shade. Aruba and Barbados close to my lash line or in the outer corner of my eyes. St Bart and Belize as a night time main shade. The lighter colours – Tahiti and Cabo will be on my brow bone. Bora Bora again on my inner corners.

Overall: This palette has really easy to wear shades for both day and night. Packaging is average – in a cardboard case, but without a magnetic closure. The value of this palette is pretty good with 9 eyeshadow shades and 3 face colour shades. The blush is a good pink shade, but the highlighter is a bit deep for my skin tone. The bronzer is a great shade as well. It has a decent sized mirror but would prefer a bigger one that takes up the entire space of the lid. Pigmentation is superb and there is little to no fall-outs. I will be ordering more palettes from BH Cosmetics – they are so affordable!
