Where I got it: I bought this from Life Pharmacy for $40.00. These are available at all Clinique counters. I was a little too impulsive to purchase products because the very next day they had a gift with purchase offer on and I missed out!! I need to plan out my purchases next time. It works out to be around $1 per sheet.
What I got: This is Clinique’s Take The Day Off Micellar Cleansing Towelettes for Face and Eyes (50 sheets). Saturated with gentle micellar cleansing liquid, these ready-to-go towelettes remove face and eye makeup anywhere, anytime—without irritation. The re-sealable package makes it perfect for the gym, travel, or quick makeup changes.
How I find it: I have used their Take The Day Off Cleansing Oil and Cleansing Balm and I love them both. Cleansing wipes are another form of makeup remover that I like to use especially when I don’t feel like washing my entire face and just wants to remove my eye and lip makeup off. This comes in a flexible foil packaging with a sturdy plastic lid that you snap open and close instead of those sticker ones which can be a hassle and the wipes may dry up much faster. I love the packaging which makes getting a wipe out easily and reseal back easily as well. The sheets are a generous size for a good full face clean. If you are wearing heavy-duty makeup you may want to use 2 or 1.5 sheets. I have been cutting my sheets in half because I like to use this to remove eye makeup and half a sheet is plenty. If I use this for a full face makeup removal, I will always double cleanse with my usual cleanser.Overall: These wipes remove makeup effectively and they contain a good amount of solution so that the sheets are not dry. Sometimes I like to use a makeup cleansing wipe to remove my makeup when I have more time on my hands. If I am in a hurry, I usually use a cleansing oil and hop into the shower. Using wipes, I can ensure all traces of mascara and eyeliner is removed before I cleanse my face with a cleanser. It is also convenient for traveling, for the gym, etc. I also cut them into smaller pieces and keep them in a snap lock bag as a spot makeup removing wipe – mistakes, smudges, etc.
