Where I got it: I have seen this peel off mask on YouTube so many times I just had to try it out myself. I ordered this on eBay and I’m sure you should be able to find this in many Korean cosmetics website or Amazon, etc. I got mine on 23/2 for USD$10.71 and it was delivered from Korea on 23/2 (free shipping).
What I got: This is 100ml tube of Elizavecca Hell-pore Clean Up Mask. A peel-off mask that puts pores in their place – off your face. Infused with Charcoal Extract, the mask lifts whiteheads, blackheads, and even dead skin cells up, up, and away, leaving you with soft and glowing skin.
How I find it: I’m not a stranger to peel off masks but reviews have said that this is literally like a nose pore strip for the face, this stuff is supposed to pack a punch and peeling this thing off is gonna hurt! So after cleansing, I like to either steam my face or press a hot cloth to open up my pores. Then I apply a nice even layer of this mask on my nose, my chin and between my brows where most of my blackheads are. When the mask dries, peel from bottom up. Either rub or rinse off the excess. I like to follow up with either an astringent toner or a pore-tightening toner.
Overall: The product in the tube is charcoal grey and quite runny. It is easy to apply, not stringy and does not drip. You can clearly see black charcoal powder particles in the product but does not feel gritty at all. Peel off is easy if you have applied a nice even layer. However the peel off did not remove a lot of blackheads for me and it didn’t hurt that bad too. It didn’t leave my skin red but it did felt a bit tender. After a toner, it feels great to put on a cooling facial spray like an Aloe Vera one or the Avene mineral water spray to soothe the skin. For best results, use a pore minimising mask or a cooling mask. I would also recommend to use it at night or when you are not expecting to put on makeup.
